Program

The conference will start on Friday, October 25th at 10,00 and it will end at 17,30 on Saturday. There will be lunch break 13,00-14,30 and lunch will be served in a nearby restaurant. There will be 8 sites present which gives 90' for each site presentation (introduction of the site + 2 - 3 talks).

Conference will be located at Male Nosticovo divadlo, Nosticova street 2a

This place is a walking distance from your hotel and University. On Friday at cca 9,30 there will be a person at your hotel who will show you the way to Nosticova street 2a. (however this is easy to find if you have a map of the Prague centre)- Our University is located (as most of you know) on Malostranské námìstí 25. The building is under a reconstruction and this is the reason why we make the meeting at nearly location. We suggest that on your arrival on Thursday you go to your hotel and come to the university (walking distance) the entrance to the building is from the upper side (facing the Hradèany castle). Inside you will find directions. 2 overheads and white board will equip conference room. Please inform us if you want to use computer beamer.

by taxi (cca 600 CZK)
by a van "Air port Centrum" which is ready to go anywhere (much more cheaper than taxi) van station is before "arrivals" (/up to 4 persons 360 CZK, more persons 720 CZK together)
by bus NR. 119 to Dejvicka station and continue by tram XA to Malostranske nam. Go to the street Trziste where is US embassy and before you is a narrow street Bretislavova - HOTEL is there.

This hotel is 300meters from Old Town Square How to reach the hotel from the airport

by taxi (cca 600 CZK)
by a van "Air port Centrum" which is ready to go anywhere (much more cheaper than taxi) van station is before "arrivals" (up to 4 persons 360 CZK, more persons 720 CZK together)
by bus Nr. 119 to Dejvicka station and continue by tram 26 to Namesti Republiky, go along the big store Kotva to Jakubska street and at the end of the street you will see the passage to the "Ungelt yard" turn to the right and the HOTEL is there.

On Thursday 20,00 there will be a business meeting-dinner of representative of all sites. Please let us know who will attend.

On Friday we reserved some tickets for the Mozart Zauberfloete. (begin 19,00 Stavovske divadlo) Let us know how many of you are interested. (Although Prague is full of tourists you may feel more comfortable with an evening dress).

On Saturday 19.00 everybody is invited to the dinner at Restaurace Èerný Orel.
